It has a strategic partnership with TCL Electronics Holdings Limited in the home entertainment sector; and a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited for a strategic partnership regarding the development and manufacturing of image sensors. The company was formerly known as Sony Corporation and changed its name to Sony Group Corporation in April 2021. Sony Group Corporation was incorporated in 1946 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
