It also provides SUSiEtec, an IoT software for data analysis, processing, acquisition, and provisioning, as well as enabling the integration of IT and OT; and standard software for IoT applications. In addition, the company offers IoT systems, which include edge and fog computing, industrial servers, and HMI; IoT boards and modules; and ethernet and TSN switching. It serves automation, avionics, communications and connectivity, defense, energy, infotainment, medical, and transportation industries. The company was formerly known as S&T AG and changed its name to Kontron AG in June 2022. Kontron AG was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Linz, Austria.
