The company offers extruded and cast plastic and lightweight panels, aluminum composite panels and materials, cast and extruded synthetic sheets, lightweight foam-boards, and core materials based on balsa wood and PET foam. Its products are used in the visual communication and display, architecture, wind energy, industry, shipbuilding, railway and bus construction, and industrial markets. The company sells its products under the Alucobond, Airex, Baltek, Dibond, Gator, Kapa, Dispa, Crylon, Crylux, Perspex, Forex, and Sintra brands. The company was formerly known as Schweiter AG and changed its name to Schweiter Technologies AG in 1989. Schweiter Technologies AG was incorporated in 1912 and is headquartered in Steinhausen, Switzerland.
